Desktop vaporizers are designed for home use and plugin to any wall outlet. Since they first appeared on the market over fifteen years ago, desktops have evolved from simple, no-frills box-style devices that utilize whips to draw vapor, to versatile digital units that can include powerful internal fans and allow users to choose between standard whip draw and advanced balloon bag inhalation methods.

Most people would agree that desktop units provide the greatest amount of vapor production, as well as the most efficient vaporization experience. Desktop units are perfect for those who will mainly be vaporizing at home. While portable vapes may be more versatile than desktops, they can't compare when it comes to performance and efficiency.

Portable vaporizers for dry herbs allow for use without requiring access to a fixed power source. Most portable vaporizers are battery operated and require that the battery be charged before use. However, there are other models of portable vaporizers which operate by burning butane for a heat source and require no electricity. Portable vaporizers allow for more freedom and are the preferred type of vaporizer for on-the-go or outdoor activities, such as camping, concerts, or for any event during which an outlet is not readily accessible.

Due to their smaller size, portable vaporizers generally do not produce as much vapor as their desktop counterparts. However, the greater versatility that comes with portable vaporizers makes it the ideal choice for many consumers.

510 Vape pens for cartridges are typically a rechargeable power source that vaporizes oil contained in a 510-thread vape cartridge. The battery heats up the oil in the vape cartridge; heated  oil turns into a vapor that can then be inhaled. Depending on the battery size, vape pens for vape cartridges come in different sizes and shapes.

Concentrate pen vaporizers have come a long way since their introduction back in 2009. Today many of them are considered some of the best portable vaporizers available. While the way in which these units function has more or less stayed the same, the technology utilized and materials they're constructed from have drastically changed. New features like advanced atomizers, variable voltage batteries and improved build quality have made the latest generation of concentrate pen vapes more versatile, reliable, and powerful than ever before. For the most part, all concentrate pens consist of three components: a battery, an atomizer (heating chamber), and a mouthpiece. These parts are threaded (universal 510 threading is typically utilized), which allows them to be connected and disconnected from each other by simply twisting them on or off.

Concentrate dab Rig

Herbal extracts are a concentrated form of the essential oils of the plant, bypassing the plant material. These extracts require a lot of concentrated heat in order to vaporize efficiently. Originally people used what was known as “dab rigs” or “oil rigs”, essentially glass water pipes with a metal or glass “nail”, which is heated by a torch. Once the nail is heated, the extract is touched to the nail and is vaporized and inhaled through the water pipe. This method for doing dabs was extremely cumbersome. This is why electronic dab rigs were invented. Electric dab rigs, also known as e-nails or e-rigs, work by using electricity to warm the heating chamber, otherwise known as an “atomizer” or “bucket“. Like their torch-based counterparts, e-nails feature water filtration in the form of a “bubbler” which is

attached to the base of the electric dab rig providing smooth hits. The advantage to electric dab rigs is they usually offer temperature control, allowing you to fine-tune your session, taking away the guess work or the need for a thermometer, as people would use with the torch and nail. Thank goodness for evolution.
